Using EmailShot on Mobile

You can also use EmailShot on iOS and Android devices, provided that you use the official GMail app. Unfortunately, GMail does not make it easy to find add-ons on mobile but we got you covered with these instructions (see official documentation).

Google Workspace Add-ons that extend Gmail have icons that appear as a horizontal row at the bottom of the currently open message. Clicking an icon opens that interface at the bottom of the message. The following animated image demoes the process of creating a new EmailShot on mobile (scroll down, most of the action happens at the bottom).

Unfortunately, it is possible that when trying to use EmailShot on mobile just after installing the add-on the icon does not show. This is a bug that we reported to Google and the workaround is to kill and restart the GMail app.
