ADHD, Perfectionism, Hijinks — A Live Chat with Alex DobrenkoA recording from Jesse J. Anderson and Alex Dobrenko`'s live video
Hey friends, Yesterday I did a live chat with Alex Dobrenko, a fellow substacker who writes Both Are True which is sort of a mix of humor, shame, anxiety, and ADHD—truly a delight! It was a super fun conversation and I heard some people had trouble accessing it while it was happening, so I wanted to make sure you all saw that the video was available. (Minor content warning—there are a few 🤬 words in the conversation) Had a little technical trouble for 15 seconds at the beginning, but then we got rolling! We started the conversation with literally no agenda at all. Just 2 fellow writers with ADHD hanging out for the first time. We ended up diving into a bunch of great topics—ADHD and perfectionism, generational understanding and acceptance of ADHD, the massive impact of shame, the role of perfectionism when creating, and a bunch of other stuff too like building software, improv comedy, and more. I think you’ll love it. Thank you Mike Sowden, Liisa Kovala, Rachel Kramer Bussel, Julie Howard, and many others for tuning into my live video with Alex Dobrenko`! Join me for my next live video in the app. Stay curious, This newsletter is supported by readers like you!
